About Us - Mike Faulkner, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Faulkner joined the Company in March 2002 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Nations Petroleum Company Ltd. effective January 2009. Prior to his current position, Mr. Faulkner served the Company as Vice President – Finance and Business Services and Director Operations Accounting & Chief Auditor. From 1981 to 2002, Mr. Faulkner served in various accounting and finance managerial capacities with Amoco Production Company and British Petroleum (BP). Mr. Faulkner has lived and worked in various international locations including Kenya, Gabon, Poland, Romania, Egypt, Russia, Kazakhstan, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Mr. Faulkner has over 28 years experience in the oil exploration & production industry with backgrounds in the disciplines of finance, internal control, commercial analysis/negotiations, operations/logistics, procurement, and project management and human resources. Mr. Faulkner holds Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from The University of Texas of The Permian Basin and is a member of COPAS and AMA.
